''121 health & care ltd was recommended to me by Wokingham council in early July 2023 as my mother required far more care than my siblings and I could provide, due to her having dementia. At the time, my mother was refusing to take her medication, refusing to go anywhere or socialise and often refusing to eat. She had no quality of life. With no short term memory, erratic behaviour that put herself at risk and a degree of stubbornness that made things almost impossible to manage, my family and I were at our wits end. Anita from 121 health & care began with a comprehensive assessment of the situation, then suggested a routine that would slowly but surely improve the situation for both ourselves and my mother. With Anita and her team visiting my mother three times daily, they quickly gained my mother’s trust, were able to administer her medication and ensure that she was eating properly.
